Documents for New Zealand Visa application:

1. Attach the following documents with your original passport (valid for minimum six months):

• One blank page for visa stamp
• Photocopy of previously attained visa/s(if any)
• Photocopy of first and last page of your passport
• Photocopy of old passport, showing your travel history(if applicable)

2. Purpose of travel should be clearly mentioned in the New Zealand tourist visa application. Documents to be attached with visa application form include:

i. Supplementary family form
ii. Form 1189 (If travelling to New Zealand for less than six months and if the said trip is self/company sponsored)
iii. Form 1025 (If sponsored by New Zealand citizen)

**Both must be duly filled and signed.

3. Two recent passport size photos(should not be more than 3 months old)

• With white background and without border
• 60-80% face coverage
• Size: 35mm X 45mm
• Mention the name and Date Of Birth at the back of the photo
• Photo should not be stapled/scanned and should not be used in any of the previous visas

4. Business person need to submit a Cover letter on the company’s letterhead mentioning his/her name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorised signatory with company stamp and must be addressed to ‘The Visa Officer,Immigration New Zealand, New Delhi’. Please note, the cover letter must on the the company’s letterhead if the applicant is self employed and on plain paper, if he is an employee of the firm

5. If the applicant has a honeymoon trip to New Zealand, then the following documents need to be attached:

• NOC from parents
• Wedding card in original
• Engagement Photos(5-10)

Financial checkup

To review your financial status, embassy demands the following documents :

1. For the employee of the firm:

• Personal ITR for the last 3 years with stamped notary
• Salary slip of last three months
• Self bank statement of last 6 months, clearly stating Bank’s name and Telephone number as well
• Copy of credit card/ Forex support, Traveller’s cheque
• NOC from company(original)

2. For self employed applicant:

ITR (Personal & Company) for last 3yrs with stamped notary
Personal & Company Bank Statement for last six months clearly mentioning the Bank’s name and Bank’s Telephone Number
Copy of credit card/ Forex support, Traveller’s cheque

In addition to the above mentioned documents, the applicant visiting New Zealand for the first time also needs to present the following documents:

If Self Employed

• Registration Certificate of the company or the certificate of Incorporation
• Company’s profile info in brief
• If MD/Director of the company, also provide the Articles of Memorandum
• Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership(if applicable)
• Import/Export license (if applicable)

If Employed

• Photocopy of Academic certificates
• Photocopy of Appointment Letter showing the date of Joining, Designation and the Salary drawn
• Work experience

Besides providing all the above documents, an applicant also have to show the proof of accommodation. For this,the applicant has to provide his hotel confirmation proof, travel plan, trip confirmation and confirmed return ticket showing the route of the trip.
